Microsoft has confirmed that eight games will be leaving Game Pass on October 15th.Biggest loss: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which won game of the year at The Game Awards 2025. Subscribers have less than two weeks to complete the games or buy them at a discount.

For consoles, PC and cloud, the following are leaving the catalog:
- A Plague Tale: Requiem, a stealth adventure about the fate of Amicia and Hugo;
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, turn-based RPG;
- Crime Scene Cleaner, a crime scene cleaning simulator;
- Donut County, a puzzle about a growing hole;
- Evil West, an action game about hunting monsters;
- Pacific Drive, car survival in an anomalous zone;
- The Casting of Frank Stone, interactive horror.
The PC version of Nova Roma is leaving separately; it will remain only in the PC catalog.Some publications name nine games, adding to the list Superball: a free game that will no longer have bonuses for subscribers.
The most high-profile loss
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hit Game Pass on release day, April 24, 2025, and spent about a year and a half there.The main story is completed in less than 30 hours, and a full passage takes two to three times longer.A Plague Tale: Requiem also arrived on release day, October 18, 2022.After her departure from the series, only Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will remain in the catalog.
Discount for subscribers
All eight games are discounted at least 20% for Game Pass members, and will last until they leave the catalog.A game purchased before October 15 can be kept in your Xbox or Microsoft account forever.
